In one huge code update I have managed to fix the main RSS feed for this blog and I have finally managed to make the permanent links look beautiful. Under the old permanent link system, the permanent link to this post would have looked something like this:
http://ccgi.emptosoft.plus.com/php/comments.php?url=/blog&post=clean_links&t=22:30%20Mon,%2001%20Jan%202007

However, now the permanent link for this post looks like this:
http://ccgi.emptosoft.plus.com/blog/blog/clean_links
(/blog is repeated because the category of this post is 'blog')

For those of you who are wondering, here is the structure of the new permanent links:
http://ccgi.emptosoft.plus.com/blog/category/post_file_name
