I have finally handed in a huge chunk of my Music Technology coursework and, as a consequence, I have spent this evening making the most major behind-the-scenes changes I have made to the comments system since I first wrote it. The comments page will look the same, but the way it works has been vastly improved. For example, comments are now stored in a way that takes account of the category of their parent post (I used to have to watch out that posts from different categories didn't have the same name, otherwise they would share comments). There have also been code optimisations, but I won't bore you with the details...
