The world's top university for 2010 is...

...the University of Cambridge. Obviously any attempt to rank universities fails to do justice to their many strengths and weaknesses in various areas of different levels of importance to different people but, nevertheless, to come top of the world rankings is pretty nice and must say something about the quality of research going on and the quality of the graduates produced. In other news, despite this being only the fourth post in the "university" category, posts during the next year are most probably going to be significantly disrupted as I proceed through the final year of my course and undertake a personal project and dissertation. This website will still be around though, and my public Twitter account may receive updates more often than this blog. I have no idea of what I'll be doing beyond this academic year, though it is likely that I'll be able to post here regularly again.

So, for now, thank you, and goodbye.
