The website of the month for May 2012 is walkcam2012, a website documenting and promoting a number of nice walks in Cambridge. The walks are specifically designed to showcase the sporting heritage of the city and links to the Olympic Games, but also take you through a range of parts of Cambridge – an increasingly nice thing to do whether you’re a tourist or resident, as the weather becomes more summery. It’s also interesting to note that last month Cambridge became home to the world’s first city-wide whitespace network – a related video is below.
In other news, this website provides an interesting look back at your last year on Facebook though it is slightly buggy and (for me at least) chooses particularly random photos, comments and videos to highlight.
Finally, I stumbled across this little story about standards recently and thought it an amusing and important lesson to share. 🙂
